Design Engineer

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Objective

We're looking for a Design Engineer to join our team and revolutionize the world of compressor valves. You'll be the bridge between ingenious ideas and flawless execution, wielding your expertise in cutting-edge design software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing valves according to relevant industry specifications. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Handling design drafting task in stipulated time frame
• Thoroughly understanding of customer requirement and providing the technical solutions.
• Design and drafting of compressor valve using Hoerbiger proprietary software like Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Creation of technical proposal and quotation drawing preparation
• Providing the sufficient data to production /purchase team for actual manufacturing.
• Checking of Final production drawing and production parts list for error free output.
• Visiting customer sites for data collection / measurements of compressor and knowing the exact customer requirement.
• SAP Bill of material creation and SAP material management of Hoerbiger
• Recommend and implement process changes to drive continuous improvement to project schedules for enhanced execution efficiency
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and further technology development within our core engineering & design fields

Preferred candidate profile

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum five years of experience in mechanical industry
• Mechanical or Production Engineering graduate from reputed university with first class
• In depth knowledge of manufacturing process.
• Working expertise in software like Autodesk Inventor, Auto CAD, SAP
  Project Management and execution, Time and resource management
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to travel as this job will require customer visits for various purposes
