About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Application Engineer to join our team in Coimbatore. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing hydraulic power packs, recommending suitable hydraulic pumps, valves, and other components based on customer requirements, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role demands strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and proficiency in design tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Requirement Analysis:
  
• Interact with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to understand their specific hydraulic system needs.
• Hydraulic Design:
  
• Perform hydraulic parameter calculations to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
• Prepare hydraulic circuits tailored to customer requirements.
• Design Documentation:
  
• Develop detailed designs and layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Compose Bill of Materials (BoM) for projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Product Recommendation:
  
• Recommend appropriate hydraulic pumps, valves, and other components to meet design specifications and customer expectations.
• Customer Interaction:
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the design and implementation phases.
• Address customer queries and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Collaboration:
  
• Work closely with the sales and production teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing hydraulic systems or power packs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic components and systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A valid drivers license and willingness to travel for customer interactions.
