Design Engineer For FEA

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform FEA simulations using tools such as Ansys and Solidworks to analyze mechanical components and systems, ensuring optimal design and performance.
• Conduct static and dynamic FEM simulations to evaluate material behavior, structural integrity, and system performance under various loading conditions.
• Lead shock and vibrational analysis for systems subjected to harsh environmental conditions, ensuring product reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine design solutions based on FEA results.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, assisting in problem-solving and analysis.
• Prepare and present detailed analysis reports, including methodology, assumptions, results, and recommendations.
• Contribute to the improvement of FEA methodologies, best practices, and tools used within the organization.
• Stay current with industry advancements and innovations in FEA simulation techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FEA simulations, with a strong focus on static, dynamic FEM, and shock & vibrational analysis.
• Proficiency in Ansys and Solidworks simulation software.
• Strong understanding of automation industry standards and applications.
• In-depth knowledge of material properties, boundary conditions, and mesh generation techniques.
• Experience with advanced FEA techniques and interpretation of results in complex scenarios.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present and explain technical concepts to non-engineering stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in optimization techniques and multi-body dynamics analysis.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, ASME, or similar.
