Design Engineer

Provide engineering and design services to customers in Electronics

Preparation of project proposals costing after studying the specifications/ system requirements

Project scheduling, designing execution ( Skill sets knowledge required is outlined below)

Implementing complex design concepts and ideas into working drawings and prototypes

Selection of right components and specifications to meet the design requirements

Product testing to meet functional specifications and Compliance requirements.

Interface with Customers during designing, prototype development and testing

Interface with Suppliers as needed

Ensure design goes through complete development, testing validation process

B ) Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must be hands on board level and system level designs . MUST

Hands on working experience in 8/16/32 bit Microprocessor/Microcontrollers ..MUST

Hands on working experience in: firmware development platforms: C, C++, assembly language, Compilers, Assemblers, development and programming tools . MUST

Candidate must have thorough understanding on the selection criteria key specifications of all electronic components and should be able to independently select based on the design requirements. .. MUST

Must be capable of interpreting the electrical parameters in the device data sheets .. MUST

Candidate must have strong working knowledge in the design of analogue, digital , mixed signal and embedded circuits .. MUST

Experience in designing of constant current/voltage drive circuits, DC/DC converters, regulator/LDO circuits, OPAMP/ADC/ . MUST

Should be familiar with EMI/EMC Standards, requirements and designing for the same . MUST

Must have worked on schematics design software tools like ORCAD or equivalent MUST

Must be familiar with PCB layout design software like CADSTAR/ORCAD and must be capable to guide layout engineers MUST

Should be willing to travel at short notices and carry out design support activity at Customer location

Candidate must be capable willing to handle both hardware and firmware requirements of a system ..MUST
Hardware: Understanding specs, component selection, schematics, layout, board bring-up , hardware testing
Firmware: Embedded programming, Integration , testing, troubleshooting, validation, Compliances, Deliverables and Documentation

Languages: English and Hindi . MUST

Working knowledge of other local India languages PREFERRED.

Candidate must be familiar with DFM, DFT, FME de-rating analysis
