- Develop and design innovative solutions for electrolysis equipment, focusing on green hydrogen product, electrolyzer equipment, piping, steel structure, and leveraging synergies with other disciplines of our Alkaline Water Electrolysis (AWE) technology.
- Create 3D models and derive product drawings for development programs as well as during product change implementation
- Identify and implement improvements to existing and new products.
- Drive the product care and implementation engineering activities, design modifications and update of technical documentation
- Coordinate with internal and external partners for development programs and conduct technical conversations
- Conduct product / subsystem / component verification and validation tests to meet product requirements
- Analyze results, prepare result presentations, and report to the business leader.
Your profile
- University degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
- 8 years experience in product development and the design of mechanical design solutions (equipment, piping, steel structure design)
- Proficiency in 3D- and 2D CAD tools and modern PDM/PLM systems (preferably NX and Teamcenter)
- Basic experience in mechanical simulation modeling such as FEM/CFD is an asset.
- Ability to think analytically and identify development and quick-win potentials.
