Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Treasury Management Specialist to oversee and enhance our Treasury Management function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing liquidity, debt, interest rates, and investment management while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. This role requires effective coordination with banks, rating agencies, and financial institutions, as well as collaboration with various business units across India.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Treasury Management:

Ensure effective and efficient functioning of the Treasury Management function, focusing on liquidity, debt, interest rates, and investment management.

2. Bank Coordination:

Liaise with banks, rating agencies, and other financial institutions to facilitate smooth operations and communication.

3. Regulatory Compliance:

• Monitor compliance under FEMA for FDI and Trade Finance regulations related to imports and exports, adhering to RBI risk management policies.
• Obtain UIN-wise clearance from RBI for overseas operations related to SBLCs/CGTs and term loan arrangements.

4. Cash Flow Management:

• Manage daily cash flow for the organization and overseas operations to minimize working capital requirements.
• Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.

5. Transaction Management:

• Oversee import and export transactions, tracking currency exposure within defined parameters.
• Explore feasibility to reduce forex losses on payables and receivables.

6 Funding Strategies:

Identify low-cost funding options and alternative financial products to lower the weighted average cost of debt.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

• Participate in daily transactions with banks, including fund transfers and RTGS/NEFT.
• Consolidate various reports such as cash flow, fund flow, import/export registers, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely renewal of fund-based and non-fund-based limits with banks and submission of necessary documents.

8. Insurance and Compliance:

• Analyze group stock insurance policies and ensure coverage for fire, burglary, transit, and personal accident insurance.
• Ensure compliance with export and import regulations, including customs duty calculations and payments.

9. Monitoring and Analysis:

• Monitor payment processes and fund-based/non-fund-based limits availed from financial institutions.
• Track bank guarantees issued/received and manage the opening and tracking of LC payments.
