Deputy Accounts Manager

Role & responsibilities:

Fixed Assets Accounting:

• Oversee asset capitalization, depreciation calculations, and related accounting processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards for asset management.

TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) Compliance:

• Manage the preparation, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
• Issue TDS certificates and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.

Audit and Balance Sheet Support:

• Assist with the preparation and verification of audit schedules and balance sheet items.
• Support audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Trial Balance Finalization:

• Finalize trial balance in preparation for the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Foreign Payments and Foreign Exchange:

• Record and manage foreign payments, including accounting for foreign exchange gains or losses.
• Ensure correct treatment of foreign transactions in accordance with accounting standards.

Prepaid Accounting:

• Handle prepaid expenses and revenue recognition in compliance with accounting policies.

General Accounts Knowledge:

• Perform various general accounting functions including posting and verification of bills, managing branch accounts, and coordinating between branches.

Payments and Postings:

• Oversee payments, verify supporting documentation, and ensure timely and accurate postings in the general ledger.

Audit Assistance:

• Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring that financial records are complete, accurate, and compliant.

TDS and GST Knowledge:

• Possess thorough knowledge of TDS and GST regulations, ensuring compliance with tax laws and timely filings.
