Job Title: Deputy General Manager (DGM) Cloud Sales.
Location: Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore.
Department: Sales/ Business Development.
Job Summary:.
- We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) for our Cloud Sales team.
- The DGM will be responsible for driving cloud services revenue growth, leading a team of sales professionals, and developing strategic sales initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, a deep understanding of the technology landscape, and proven experience in managing large sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Lead and manage the Cloud Sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive cloud service adoption across different industries.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the cloud services portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to tailor offerings to meet client needs.
- Create and execute a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and solutions that leverage the company's cloud capabilities.
- Conduct high-level presentations and negotiations with C-suite executives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with the post-sales support and delivery teams.
- Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Drive collaboration across different teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Qualifications:.
Education:.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience:.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in cloud services or related technology sales.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling sales teams to achieve high revenue targets.
- Experience in selling cloud solutions such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS is essential.
Skills:.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute on complex sales initiatives.
