Senior Motion Graphic Artist

The Role:

1. The successful candidate will be expected to work on localization and versioning projects in both short-form and long-form as per the brief provided by Producers and Project Managers mainly using Adobe Creative Cloud.

2. A perfect mix of creative skills on the software and technical knowledge on the industry formats and standards worldwide is required to fulfill the same.

3. Should be available to work in shifts aligned to multiple time zones either continuously or on rotational basis depending on the business requirement. The candidate might be aligned to one shift continuously throughout the year based on the client zone and business requirement.

Job Description:

1. Producing multiple language versions and multiple aspect ratio deliverables from source video master.

2. Creating, amending, removing, recreating, and realigning graphical elements, texts, logos, designs, product packs, textures, backgrounds, etc., as per the brief.

3. XML/AAF conforming, clocking, adding subtitles and amending legal copies.

4. Basic sound editing and ensuring appropriate audio levels as per the briefs and compliances using industry standard sound metering software.

5. Sharing the information on errors, missing assets, mistakes in briefs, etc., as constructive feedback with all levels of the team, onsite, agency, and client.

6. Learning and following, brand guidelines and client specific information to use the logos, fonts, and colors appropriately on the projects.

7. Learning and following the rules of clearance agencies and certification boards to ensure every project is built in the appropriate specifications to successfully pass the required clearances and certifications as per the destination country or province.

8. Ensuring every project is built in appropriate delivery specifications as per the broadcast, theatrical and streaming platforms following the right cultural standards and legal compliances as per the destination country or province.

9. Manage consolidation and archival of the projects after completion and advise better process methods based on the project learnings.

10. Ensuring to adhere the workflow and contributing ideas to make it better.

11. Following best practices for versioning control, naming convention, and neat organization of multiple unique assets creating multiple versions across multiple languages delivering to multiple destinations.

Requirements:

1. Advanced level 2D/3D motion graphics, UI/UX, animation, painting, compositing, motion tracking and visual effects.

2. Intermediate level video editing, re-editing, cutdowns, sound editing and basic color correction.

3. Advanced to intermediate understanding of After Effects and Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Animate.

4. Intermediate to basic understanding of Adobe software packages like Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro, etc.,

5. Good experience in using familiar plugins from Boris, Maxon, Video Copilot, etc.,

6. Experience working on projects briefed by international account managers or producers from a different geographical location with minimal back and forth interactions.

7. Good technical knowledge of industry standards and specifications covering formats, codecs, aspect ratios, fps, title safety, statutory warnings, etc.,

8. Experience in working for projects delivering to Broadcasting stations and OTT platforms for international agencies, clients, and post houses.

9. Experience using audio meters, video analyzers and other plugins involved in evaluating quality of video and audio.

10. Very good understanding on Windows and Mac OS and the standard desktop applications.

11. Very good experience in handling MS Office applications and Video Conferencing applications.

12. Professional English language, excellent interpersonal skills, and a Can-Do attitude.

13. Strong eye for detail is important for producing multiple outputs with minor but critical changes unique to every single version.
