Job Description:

The role would be responsible for delivering accurate pre-season and in-season demand forecasts as well as maintaining healthy inventory for the Agri Input business of DeHaat. Through effective planning and management, this role would help to achieve given financial targets through close collaboration with Sales, Procurement, Finance and Supply Chain functions.

- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.

- Conduct quantitative analysis based on past season demand and supply issues, and provide insights to optimize future planning

- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.

- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management and support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.

- Monitor sales and inventory and highlight variances where they differ from the forecast.

- Provide inputs to Purchase and Supply Chain teams in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

- Work closely with supply & sales teams in order to deliver optimum product availability.

- Drive process improvement projects to standardize and optimize the pre-season and in-season planning process

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather the best intelligence to improve forecast accuracy.
