Senior Data Visualization Engineer (Azure SQL / Power BI)

Job Description

Deevita is looking for an experienced Senior Data Visualization Engineer ( ) to join our team and contribute to building robust Data pipelines and insightful Data visualizations to help drive business decisions for one of our large enterprise Life Sciences customer. You will be leading the engagement with the client with a team of engineers to deliver data solutions using Microsoft Azure , Power Platform, Azure SQL Database, Power BI technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requirements working with client teams , design and propose best design architecture for the solution
• Integrate data from various sources building ETL pipelines using Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, and Azure Data Factory building enterprise scale data pipelines.
• Design and Develop advanced data visualizations including dashboards, paginated reports using various Power BI and Power platform products
• Develop various internal applications using Power Platform such as Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration and data warehousing.
• Maintain and update Power BI reports and dashboards in line with business changes and new requirements.
• Provide technical support for end-users, assisting with any issues related to Power BI dashboards or SQL databases.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure best practices for database security, data privacy, and compliance.
• Develop the logical and physical structure of databases based on project requirements, including tables, views, indexes, and relationships.
• Work closely with the engineering team to design and implement solutions and meet delivery, quality, and performance

Required Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade data platform solutions involving SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Power BI.
• Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering fields. (BE/B.Tech/ M.E / M.Tech, MCA)
• Must have at least 7+ years of software development experience in SQL Server/ Azure SQL Database
• Must have at least 3+ years of software development experience in building data visualizations for business /enterprise customers using Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Service).
• Must have 1+ year of experience in building applications using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Must have at least one Microsoft Certification in Power BI
• Must be hands-on, deeply technical and exposure to latest features within SQL Server, able to do both coding and guide group of junior/mid-level database engineers
• Must have excellent communication skills (English) to interface with US clients directly and verify in proficiency in all types of communication modes – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking
• Must have strong experience in Performance Tuning / Optimization Initiatives using
• Healthcare, Pharma/Life science industry experience will be an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharma/Life science industry experience will be an added advantage
• Azure Development using ADF, Data pipelines
