Business Analyst

Location: Chennai / Mumbai

Reports To: General Manager - IT

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing and improving web, mobile app, CRM, and booking systems. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for web, mobile app, CRM, and booking systems.
• Analyze and evaluate current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and system design documents.
• Work with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Provide training and support to end-users.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, particularly in the hospitality sector.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of web, mobile app, CRM, and booking systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
• Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and training end-users.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems.
