MEP Manager

As an Assistant Manager in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), your role would involve overseeing and managing the MEP systems within a construction project or facility. MEP systems are critical components of buildings and infrastructure, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that ensure functionality, safety, and efficiency. Here are some key responsibilities and duties of an Assistant Manager MEP:Project Management: Assist in the management of MEP projects from initiation to completion. This includes coordinating with the project team, setting project goals, creating schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and regulations.Design Review and Coordination: Review and analyze MEP system designs, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, and other related systems. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the design aligns with project requirements and objectives.Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in preparing budgets and cost estimates for MEP systems. Monitor expenses, track costs, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee the quality control and assurance processes for MEP systems, ensuring that installations, equipment, and materials meet the specified standards and requirements. Conduct inspections, review test results, and address any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.Contractor Management: Coordinate with MEP contractors and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication, adherence to project schedules, and compliance with safety regulations.
