Position Overview:
The Content Creator produces engaging, high-quality content for digital platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, and emails. This role involves creating multimedia content written articles, videos, graphics, and interactive media to attract and engage target audiences. The Content Creator collaborates with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with business goals and audience interests.
Key Responsibilities:

• Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute content strategies for Instagram and YouTube that align with brand goals. Plan, curate, and schedule content to drive engagement and growth. Research trends and audience preferences to ensure relevance.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality content (Instagram posts, Stories, Reels, YouTube videos, etc.) with engaging captions, titles, and descriptions. Maintain brand consistency and create visually captivating thumbnails.
• Social Media Engagement: Manage Instagram and YouTube communities by interacting with followers and responding to comments/messages. Collaborate with influencers to increase visibility and user-generated content.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track content performance using Instagram Insights and YouTube Analytics. Provide regular reports with key metrics and actionable insights to improve future content.
• SEO & Content Optimization: Optimize YouTube videos for search visibility and use strategic hashtags on Instagram. Stay updated on platform changes and trends to maximize reach.
• Collaboration: Work with marketing, PR, and design teams to align content with brand initiatives. Partner with influencers and creators for cross-promotions and contribute to other digital marketing projects.
• Content Calendar & Scheduling: Maintain and update the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across Instagram and YouTube

Qualifications:


Education:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a content creator with a strong portfolio of work on Instagram and YouTube.
• Experience creating both short-form and long-form content, including Instagram Reels, Stories, YouTube videos, and live streams.
• Strong understanding of platform-specific content requirements, such as video length, format, and audience engagement strategies on both Instagram and YouTube.

Skills:

• Excellent video production and editing skills, including experience with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, especially Instagram (feed, stories, reels) and YouTube (videos, thumbnails, SEO).
• Proficient in graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop for creating visually appealing images and thumbnails.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling captions, descriptions, and calls-to-action.
• Basic knowledge of SEO, including YouTube optimization, keyword usage, and hashtags.
• Ability to analyse data from Instagram Insights and YouTube Analytics to inform content strategy and performance optimization.
