Job Description
- Outline design objectives and undertake design projects from concept to completion
- Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
- Determine the cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
- Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
- Source materials and products included in plans.
- Create mood boards to sample your design vision.
- Utilize computer applications in the design process.
- Inspect the design after completion to determine whether requirements have been met.
- Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices
Working days and timings: Monday-Friday 9:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in interior design or related field.
- Portfolio of design work.
- Experience with computational design.
- Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations
- Well-equipped with working drawing skills and should have presentation skills (Photoshop and InDesign)
- Should have experience working on site
