Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Remittance Product Manager to drive the development, implementation, and growth of our remittance products in the branch network across India with major adoption to digital channel. The ideal candidate will have expertise in remittance services, a deep understanding of the Indian market, and experience working closely with retail branches to optimize customer experience, increase adoption on digital channels and ensure compliance.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive remit business for branch channel
  • Increase adoption of the digital platform for outward remittances
  • Optimizing the User Experience.
Adhere to financial regulations and compliance standards.

Job Duties & responsibilities:

  • Product Management:
    • Lead the end-to-end management of remittance products offered through branch channels.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, marketing, compliance, and technology) to design, enhance, and maintain remittance products.
    • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to develop innovative remittance solutions.
    • Define product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory guidelines.
  • Branch Channel Integration:
    • Drive the adoption of remittance products within the branch network.
    • Work closely with branch managers and staff to promote remittance services, ensure proper training, and maximize usage.
    • Provide on-the-ground support to branches, addressing operational issues and ensuring smooth execution of remittance services.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure remittance products comply with RBI regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) rules, and other applicable laws.
    • Implement and monitor processes to prevent fraud and ensure secure transactions.
  • Customer Experience & Service:
    • Enhance the customer experience through branch-driven remittance services, focusing on ease of use, speed, and reliability.
    • Gather customer feedback and insights from branches to continuously improve the product offering.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth:
    • Set sales targets for branches and incentivize staff to promote remittance services.
    • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improving revenue generation from remittance channels.
  • Training & Support:
    • Design and deliver training programs for branch staff to ensure thorough understanding of remittance products and processes.
    • Act as the main point of contact for any issues or queries related to remittance products in branches.
      8. Market Analysis:

      Conduct regular market reasearch to understand customer preferences, market size, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.
    • Provide insights and reports to senior management on product performance, market dynamics, and customer trends.
Required Experience:

Relevant experience in payment, channel management, remittance or NR team.

Education / Preferred Qualification:
MBA or CA

Well versed with Data Analytics Tools
Well versed with remittances inbound and outbound arrangements.

  • Management of internal and stakeholders for acquisition and deepening of remit wallet share.
  • Close interaction with Treasures Elite Team Leader, City / Cluster Head, Branch Service and Operations team to ensure consistent delivery of volume and revenue targets.
  • Close interaction with Platform, marketing, ecosystem team to develop and update remittances products
