Associate Architect

We are seeking a skilled Associate Architect with 7 to 10 years of experience specializing in backend services, particularly in Java, Data Structures, System Design, Unix, and Oracle. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in GitHub, XML, REST, and SOAP. This role will involve collaborating with senior architects and cross-functional teams to design and implement robust backend systems that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

System Design: Collaborate with senior architects to develop system architecture and design specifications for backend services.
Backend Development: Utilize Java and related technologies to build scalable and efficient backend solutions.
Data Structures: Implement optimal data structures to enhance performance and maintainability of applications.
Unix Systems: Manage and optimize backend services on Unix platforms.
Database Management: Design and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Version Control: Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborative development practices.
API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
Documentation: Prepare technical documentation for system architecture, design specifications, and operational procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure project success.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend services.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Java programming language.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with Unix operating systems.
Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
Familiarity with version control systems, specifically GitHub.
Knowledge of XML, RESTful services, and SOAP protocols.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
