Sales Engineer- Industrial Automation & Digitalization

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with expertise in selling advanced industrial systems such as Level 2 automation, process historians, and custom applications for industries like Steel, Cement, Cranes, and Paper. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industrial automation, including PLC and DCS systems, and will have the technical knowledge to interface with engineering teams and customers. Familiarity with PLC&DCS systems, C#, ASP.NET Core, mobile application development for Industrial IoT, and Industry 4.0 solutions is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive the sales process for industrial systems such as Level 2 automation, process historian, and custom software applications.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in industries like Steel, Cement, Cranes, and Paper to understand their operational challenges and propose tailored solutions.
• Provide technical consultations to customers, showcasing the companys expertise in PLC, DCS automation, and Level-2 industrial systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a seamless handover of requirements and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs related to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP integration, and industrial automation.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in Industry 4.0 and Industrial IoT to position the company’s solutions as cutting-edge and future-ready.
• Act as a bridge between the sales and technical teams to facilitate the successful implementation of solutions, particularly focusing on data exchange between industrial systems, MES, and ERP systems.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies for the target industrial segments.
• Identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals and presentations to win new business.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales or pre-sales roles, especially in selling industrial automation systems (Level 2, PLC, DCS) and custom software solutions.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including PLC and DCS, and experience working with industrial clients.
• Familiarity with software development processes and knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, mobile application development, and Industrial IoT solutions.
• Experience in handling projects related to MES and ERP integration in industrial environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• A proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 solutions and technologies.
• Experience with data analytics and process historians in industrial settings.
• Understanding of Industrial IoT protocols and communication standards.
