Job Description

Collaborate with mainframe migration teams to find solutions to cross code and data related bugs and issues
Convert database structures and application data from mainframe technologies (VSAM, DB2 zOS) to the equivalent RDBMS structures in PostgreSQL, and others
Clearly define the root cause of problems using defect reporting tools
Validate customer data in destination systems
Provide clear descriptions and feedback on tool performance for CORE team
Complete database performance analysis, and tune runtime and data loading performance where applicable
Consult and guide team on issues encountered
Configure and populate relational databases on Prem or in the Cloud
Required Qualification :
Total Experience should be more than 10+ years.
7+ years expert experience with relational and transactional languages as a DBA (DDL, DML, TCL, etc.)
3+ years of experience modernizing mainframe data systems
Experience with both Windows and Linux
Understanding of z/OS and/or Unisys based database systems
Understanding of CICS, VSAM, JCL, COBOL
Familiarity with SQL language structures and performance tuning
Experience with scripting languages (Powershell, bash, Python, etc.)
Creatively solve problems and collaborate in a remote work environment
Your personal drive and problem-solving acumen become an asset, moving your client s infrastructure from the past to the future
Build and inspire successful teams, by sharing your lessons-learned while learning from others
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
