Software Engineer Data Science

About The Role.

Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager as a member of the Development team at IDC, the Software Engineer is responsible for delivering quality and performant software and design to handle the vast array of use cases that our customers have today.

This role is responsible for Developing Software Solutions by learning information needs, discussing with managers, studying systems flow, data usage, finding problem areas and coming up with solutions & following the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities.

Develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models using Python , SQL, and Open AI APIs for Cloud Platform.

Work on new features from scratch & contribute towards designing the system from data pipeline , AI/ML algo & enabling complex integrations.

Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, OOPS concepts with C#, .Net(or Java) with SQL Server or any RDBMS and be proficient in developing backend and Data engineering.

They should have a good grasp of the principles and best practices related to Web API development, including authentication, authorization, and data serialization.

Should have hands-on experience with any Cloud services and Data Science projects.

Responsible for solving complex technical challenges.

Should possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling them to identify and address issues efficiently.

Should be able to debug and troubleshoot software problems effectively and propose appropriate solutions.

Should have an analytical mind and a passion for the craft of software engineering.

Qualifications, Skills & Experiences.

Minimum 3+ years of recent experience in building products on cloud.

Should have a strong focus on delivering high-quality software.

Should adhere to coding standards, write clean and maintainable code, and follow best practices.

Should be familiar with testing frameworks and practices to ensure software reliability and quality.

Should possess good communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Should be skilled in documenting work, including code documentation, technical specifications, and system architecture.
