Data Modeler - Erwin/ER/Studio (6-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and translate business needs into long-term solution data models.

- Evaluate and optimize existing data systems for performance and scalability.

- Work collaboratively with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.

- Develop best practices for data coding to ensure consistency across the data systems.

- Review modifications to existing systems to ensure cross-compatibility.

- Implement data strategies and develop physical data models to enhance business processes.

- Conduct thorough evaluations of new tools (such as ERWin, ERStudio, Hackolade, SQL DBM) and recommend the best options for the organization's needs.

- Apply Synapse Studio for data modeling tasks while working with retail or manufacturing data environments.

- Provide support in designing and maintaining the overall data architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Work in collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure the efficient management of data structures.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 6-7 years of experience in Data Modeling, with hands-on expertise in analyzing and translating business needs into data solutions.

- Strong experience in retail or manufacturing data modeling environments.

- Expertise in Synapse Studio and familiarity with tools like ERWin, ERStudio, Hackolade, and SQL DBM.

- Proven ability to design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

- Solid understanding of data flows, data governance, and data consistency within a system.

- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams to evaluate and implement data solutions.

- Experience in data systems evaluation and optimization.

- Ability to develop and maintain data coding best practices and standards.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams
