Job Title : Data Engineer (2-3 Years Experience)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated - Data Engineer- to join our data and analytics team.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing data flows, and supporting cross-functional teams with data infrastructure needs.

This role requires strong technical expertise in data engineering tools and technologies, as well as a passion for solving complex data challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process both structured and unstructured data efficiently.

- Seamlessly integrate data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.

- Design and optimize relational and non-relational data models for better performance.

- Build basic reporting dashboards by consolidating data from multiple sources.

- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards to support data governance initiatives.

- Solve complex database challenges using advanced and optimized query techniques.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to gather and fulfill data requirements effectively.

- Actively engage in technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts.

Qualifications :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL) with hands-on experience in query optimization.

- Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, along with their data services (e.g, S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, and AWS Glue).

- Experience in building ETL pipelines using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or AWS Glue.

- Practical experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) and Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.

- Intermediate knowledge of Power BI and SSRS for reporting and performance optimization.

Good To have :

1. Familiarity with big data frameworks (e.g, Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

2. Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow is a plus

3. Power apps and Power Automate is a Plus

4. Tableau skills set would be plus

Experience :

- 2-3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

- Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
