Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 10+ years of experience to lead and run our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. They will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing DevOps team, designing and implementing scalable infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless integration and delivery of software products.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and Build the DevOps Team:

Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Infrastructure Design and Management:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain security best practices across all environments.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Tooling and Automation:

Evaluate, select, and integrate DevOps tools and technologies.

Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications

Over 10 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or system administration.
Proven experience leading and managing a DevOps team.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in a startup environment.

Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
