Sr. Data Analyst

The Data Instrumentation team is part of the Software Core Services Services in the organization and is responsible for architecture, design, and management of Instrumentation and Analysis for the entire Mixed Reality ecosystem.

The Senior Data Analyst position is an individual contributor role. He/she will work as an interface between Developers, Engineers, and Management. He/she is passionate about data instrumentation and analysis.

• Designing and maintaining instrumentation , data systems and processes to gather, clean, and transform and visualise data related to Tesseract s JioGlass customers and Developer Ecosystem

• Use statistical techniques and tools to analyse datasets and interpret patterns and trends and gather insights and provide reports to various stakeholders

• Serve as custodian of data systems and data management processes in the organisation so that technology, product and business teams can understand this data and use it to arrive at solutions and strategies to accelerate Tesseract s JioGlass and Developer Ecosystem.

• Work closely with other engineers and product teams to identify the data analysis requirements related to Devices (Operating System and Electronics), SDK s, Experience/Applications, etc.

• Design and implement solutions by leveraging Big Data technology and AI.

• Build high standards of data analysis and advocate data-driven culture company-wide.

• Mentor other Data Analysts in the team

• Bachelor degree or above 4+ years industry experience in data analytics.

• Strong mathematics and statistics background. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experiences in statistics, data analysis, big data processing and parallel computing frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.

• Hands-on experience with SQL or Hive Query

• Logical thinker with strong problem solving and analytical ability to apply your mathematical, algorithmic and other expertise to solve real problems.

• Proven ability to collect, organize, analyze, visualise and disseminate significant amounts of information in an easy to understand form, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to master new technology in short time and apply to solve practical problems.

• Passion for exploring data insights and new technology, ability to master new technologies quickly and work in an ambiguous environment and open to interdisciplinary work.

• Proven ability to build and continuously improve multiple data visualisation dashboards that helped as input to growth strategy for different stakeholders in an organisation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Azure Data Analytics Services is a plus
