Application Engineer

Job Description

Danfoss is looking for Application Engineer with 2-4 years in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning.

Job Responsibilities

1. The position requires basic knowledge about refrigeration and air-conditioning, different systems like air-conditioners, cold-rooms, components required for these applications and function of it.
2. Good understanding of PH charts, psychrometric diagram.
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Good knowledge about product development, component selection, trouble shooting and providing solutions.
5. Works as interface between customer and Danfoss factories.
6. Analytical & problem-solving approach.
7. Able to test different units like air-conditioners, cold rooms etc, analyze the results, find weak links and support customers for design improvement.

Background & Skills

1. The position demand high technical capabilities to support design and quality functions of customers. He has to work closely with customer to improve the performance and reliability of end products.
2. Good understanding of these applications - Coldroom, Chiller, Airdryer, Air conditioners.
3. Good communication skill, technical knowledge and dedication required to understand different applications like cold rooms, chillers, air-conditioners, air-driers and many more applications.
4. The position offers challenge to deal with Big OEMs as well a small mechanic. The person must understand baskets of products study the customer needs & provide suitable solution. This requires analytical skills, problem solving approach to gain the customer confidence.
5. The position offers challenges and ensures drastic improvement in capabilities to become situation leader to handle the function independently.
