ROLE:

To contribute to the overall development of SPA and wellbeing of the Students, Teachers and Curriculum and Co-Curriculum development.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years, handling Classical / Western Dance.

Education : Graduate in any discipline with any relevant certification
Qualifications:

Relevant UG with Certification in the relevant field is preferred.
Previous teaching experience in a Primary/Middle/High school.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students.
Effective class management skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology and classroom tools.
Commitment to professional growth and development.

Skills:

Grasp the developmental milestones, needs, and characteristics of primary aged children.

Convey information clearly and empathically to students, parents, and administration.

Familiarity with the primary school curriculum and the ability to adapt it to diverse learning needs.

Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, handle disruptions, and ensure student safety.

Understand and appreciate diverse family structures, cultures, and backgrounds, ensuring inclusive teaching practices.

Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to the varied learning styles of students.

Ability to handle the unique challenges of young learners with patience and understanding.

Allocate and utilize time for lesson planning, grading, and other tasks, ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.

Requirements
Artistic Performance: Create and perform unique and specialized acts in the field of special performing arts, such as magic, illusion, puppetry, mime, or any other specialized form. Demonstrate creativity and innovation in developing performances that captivate and engage audiences.

Skill Mastery: Showcase mastery in specific performing arts skills, ensuring a high level of proficiency and artistry in the chosen discipline.

Stay abreast of new techniques and trends within the special performing arts field.

Scripting and Choreography: Develop and script performances, incorporating compelling storylines, themes, or messages where applicable.

Design and choreograph movements, ensuring seamless integration of elements to create a visually stunning and cohesive performance.

Costume and Prop Coordination: Collaborate with costume designers and prop specialists to create visually appealing and thematically appropriate costumes and props. Ensure that costumes and props enhance the overall impact of the performance.

Rehearsals and Practice: Dedicate time to regular practice to refine and perfect outcome.
Audience Interaction: Engage with the audience effectively, creating memorable and interactive experiences during performances. Adapt performances to suit different audience demographics and settings.
Safety and Technical Knowledge: Prioritize safety especially when dealing with specialized equipment or techniques. Possess technical knowledge related to any specialized equipment or technology used.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other artists, directors, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of special performing arts within broader productions.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creatively to enhance overall artistic offerings.

Education and Outreach: Conduct workshops, masterclasses, or educational sessions to share expertise and promote interest in the special performing arts. Engage in community outreach to promote awareness and appreciation for the chosen performing art form.

Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to different performance venues, audiences, and production requirements.
