Job Summary:
The Product Associate will assist the product management team in developing, launching, and optimizing products. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure product goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development & Management:
1. Assist in gathering and documenting product requirements from stakeholders
2. Support the Product Manager/Head in creating product roadmaps and timelines
3. Monitor the product lifecycle and identify areas for improvement
Market Research & Analysis:
1. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape
2. Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to recommend improvements
Collaboration & Communication:
1. Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure product requirements are implemented effectively
2. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support product launches and promotional activities
3. Act as a point of contact for product-related queries and issues
Documentation & Reporting:
1. Prepare and maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, use cases, and feature descriptions
2. Generate reports on product performance, KPIs, and other key metrics
Product Testing:
1. Conduct end to end product feature testing in English and Arabic language.
2. Report bugs and issues on the product at the pre-launch stage and make sure the product implementation is as defined in the PRD.
3. Seek cross functional support on product testing and coordinate till completion.
Customer Focus:
1. Engage with customers to gather feedback and insights
2. Advocate for customer needs in product discussions and decisions
Cross-Functional Support:
1. Partner with other verticals, including Strategy, Insights, Marketing, and Growth, to provide data and analysis for decision-making
2. Support campaigns, initiatives, and operational improvements by delivering detailed reports and insights
3. Manage ad-hoc requests from various teams, ensuring timely and accurate outputs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Clickup).
- Familiarity with analytical tools like UXCam, Hotjar, Qlikview, Quicksight, Google Data Studio etc.
- Basic understanding of agile methodologies and software development processes
- Data-driven mindset - Ability to interpret data and make sense out of it without getting stuck in analysis paralysis
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in using data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles.
- Strong understanding of technology and the ability to quickly learn new technologies is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic is a plus), the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment are also necessary
