We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead the setup of our new, premium bar brand of Brik Oven.
This role will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing the bar menu from scratch, curating an exciting and innovative beverage selection, and overseeing the setup of the bar's operations, ambiance, and customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building successful bar programs and launching new establishments.
Key Responsibilities.
Bar Setup & Design: Collaborate with the design and construction teams to ensure the bar layout is efficient, aesthetically appealing, and functional.
Source and procure bar equipment, glassware, and supplies, ensuring quality and brand alignment.
Menu Development: Create a unique and innovative cocktail menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends, while aligning with the bar’s theme and concept.
Develop a well-rounded wine, beer, and spirits list that complements the food offerings and appeals to the target audience.
Conduct tastings, training, and demonstrations for staff to ensure familiarity with the menu.
Operations Management: Hire, train, and manage bar staff, including bartenders and bar backs.
Establish and implement bar operational procedures, ensuring efficiency in inventory management, stock control, and cost-effective purchasing.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations, including responsible alcohol service policies.
Customer Experience & Service: Ensure top-tier service quality by setting high standards for customer engagement, drink preparation, and overall bar experience.
Handle customer feedback and continuously work on improving service and offerings based on customer preferences and trends.
Financial Management: Monitor and manage the bar’s financial performance, including profit margins, sales targets, and cost control.
Create pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bar Manager, Mixologist, or similar role in a premium bar, restaurant, or hotel.
Proven experience in developing bar menus and launching new bar establishments from the ground up.
Strong knowledge of global beverage trends, cocktails, spirits, wines, and craft beers.
Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
Creative and innovative thinking with a passion for developing unique drinks and enhancing customer experiences.
Solid financial acumen and experience in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
Certifications: Certification in Responsible Alcohol Service (if applicable).
