Job Description

A System Administrator is responsible for overseeing an organizations cloud computing environment, ensuring its stability, security, and efficiency.

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage our organizations cloud computing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, installing and ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our cloud-based systems & applications.

Skills Required:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
Adaptability to evolving technologies and a proactive approach to learning.
Proven experience as a Cloud System Administrator or similar role.
Proficiency in server management and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of Server OS, networking, security, and system administration concepts.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Relevant certifications like AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator, or equivalent are a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud services (e.g., Private cloud servers, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to meet business requirements.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement and manage security measures to safeguard cloud systems and data.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, networks, and applications.
Collaborate with other teams to assess computing needs and recommend scalable cloud solutions.
Optimize resource utilization and cost management in the cloud environment.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in cloud operations.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing.
Propose and implement enhancements to optimize cloud infrastructure and workflows.
