Business Development Manager (PPMS)

Experience: 4+ years


Role Brief:

We are looking for an enthusiastic enterprise sales professional who will be responsible for driving the business development of our PPMS product. PPMS is a workflow-based software solution the helps government organizations manage and monitor their large and complex infrastructure development projects from the ease of office. The position is based at Kolkata and may require extensive travel.


Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and development of PPMS Sales across India.
  • Identifying new sales leads, new markets, and customer.
  • Meeting existing customers and working towards acquiring new business with these customers.
  • End-to-end responsibility for new business development and Account Mining.
  • Functional Requirement Analysis with Clients, Proposal Preparation, Negotiation and Closure.
  • Ownership of Yearly and Quarterly Sales Targets.
  • Design and Create Custom Solution as per clients requirement
  • Demonstrative excellent skill set in presenting enterprise solutions
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Monitor and regularly report on key performance indicators.

Job Requirement:

  • Should have hands-on experience in selling IT services in government and corporate sphere.
  • Ability and experience to get connected at senior management levels of Client Organisations. (IAS/IFS Officials, CEO, Director, Vice President).
  • Work as Consultant / Advisor to customer organizations and help them in driving the vision.
  • Dynamic individual and a pro-active sales professional with exceptional convincing abilities.
  • Excellent communication (writing/speaking) and presentation skills.
  • Design and Present Solution Architecture based on customer needs.
  • Should be able to build strategies to develop new accounts for the business.
  • Execute on achieving the vision through the strategies defined.
  • Should be capable of achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales target.
  • Must have sound knowledge in current Technologies / IT solutions.
  • Knowledge in Geospatial Sector will be an added advantage.
