Job Description
We are now seeking an Engineering Manager based out of our Mumbai office. In this role you will lead a full-stack team (8-12 Engineers & technical leads) focused on developing new products and features for our Consumer and Private FX products. The engineering manager will play a critical role in ensuring we maintain and develop high coding and architectural standards.
- Build new products- you ll support your team to deliver a wide range of new products and features.
- Collaboration- You ll work closely with cross functional stakeholders including product managers, designers and architects to define requirements and design solutions for our product suite.
- Developing talent- you ll hire and empower our engineers to be the best engineers they can be, while maintaining a supportive and engaging team culture.
- Raise the technical bar- You insist on high standards of technical design and implementation and ensure your systems are operationally excellent.
- Plan and prioritise impactful technical investment initiatives for your teams
- Experience of engineering leadership with a strong background in modern software architecture, distributed systems and cloud technology (AWS)
- Experience leading product engineering teams, including B2B APIs. The team will work on modernising existing tools as well as taking others from 0 to 1
- 3 years minimum experience working as an Engineering manager in a highly regulated environment, with experience working as an engineer in a business with a similar tech stack
- Experience in rapidly improving and maintaining coding and architectural standards
- Previous experience with another financial technology companies with a global footprint
