Concept Footwear Designer

As a Concept Footwear Designer at Cult.Fit, you will be responsible for generating and developing original ideas for athletic and casual footwear. You will need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in fashion, sports, and technology to ensure that our footwear designs are both stylish and functional. You will work closely with our product development and marketing teams to bring your concepts to life and create products that resonate with our target audience.

Responsibilities:  

- Graphic Design for Footwear: Create visually striking graphic designs for footwear, including logos, prints, and patterns, keeping the latest trends and brand aesthetics in mind.

- 2D Footwear Design: Collaborate with the design and product teams to develop detailed 2D sketches and illustrations of footwear designs.

- CAD Rendering: Utilize CAD software to create technical drawings and models, ensuring that design concepts are effectively translated into manufacturing-ready assets.

- Trend Research: Stay updated on footwear industry trends, market demands, and emerging styles to create designs that resonate with the target audience.

- Collaboration: Work closely with R&D team, material specialists, and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility and quality of designs.

Key Skills:

- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in footwear design, graphic design, or a related field.

- Design Tools: Proficient in CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator).

- Footwear Knowledge: Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and trends.

- Creativity: Excellent sense of color, typography, and layout with a keen eye for details.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Problem-solving: Ability to develop creative solutions while working within technical constraints.

- Teamwork: Capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

- Previous experience in the sportswear or footwear industry.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in footwear.
