Software Quality Assurance Tester - Selenium/Java (6-8 yrs)

Job responsibilities :

A talented individual is required with the ability to lead the testing of custom technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be accountable for defining the scope of test scenarios, understanding business requirements, executing tests, and reporting results.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Selenium and Java.

- Conduct thorough manual testing to identify defects and inconsistencies.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate API functionalities.

- Verify data integrity and accuracy through database testing using SQL.

- The role requires innovation in building and maintaining test accelerators to meet client needs and developing predictive and intelligent testing approaches for automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

- Additionally, the candidate will be involved in test coordination activities.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing

- Strong experience with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile) and strong knowledge of testing principles.

- Practical experience of Java coding

- Proficient in Automation Testing using test automation tools such as Selenium with Java, Cucumber BDD

- Advanced working experience in API testing using Postman, Insomnia, etc.

- Experience in automated API testing using Postman

- Strong professional experience in database testing using SQL.

- Strong professional experience in manual testing

Experience in functional testing (like, black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing etc.)

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Basic knowledge of AWS.

- Good understanding of version control tools like Git
