Position Overview:

A Civil Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects at the site. They ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget while adhering to project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Interpret and review construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
• Site Supervision:
• Monitor daily activities and ensure that construction work aligns with approved designs and standards.
• Supervise contractors and laborers to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
• Identify and address any defects or issues during the construction process.
• Resource Management:
• Coordinate the availability of labor, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.
• Manage site resources effectively to control costs and reduce wastage.
• Safety Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
• Conduct safety briefings and risk assessments as needed.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of site activities and incidents.
• Problem Solving:
• Address and resolve technical issues or unexpected challenges encountered on-site.
• Recommend modifications to designs or schedules as needed.
