Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
• SQL Querying: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various relational databases.
• Python Programming: Use Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation of repetitive tasks, including the development of web scraping scripts to collect and process data from online sources.
• Data Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools to present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with On shore (US) Team, Suppliers and engineering (Dev) team, to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Data Quality & Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by identifying and addressing data quality issues.
• Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and findings to support transparency and knowledge sharing across the team.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.
• Advanced Python skills for data analysis, scripting, automation, Text Mining and web scraping (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, etc.).
• Experience with data visualization tool Power BI, or similar.
• Knowledge of Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI concepts and tools is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure is a plus.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex data sets to deliver actionable insights.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
