Role : Node.js Developer

Job Description :

This position involves developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications using Node.js, delivering high-quality, efficient solutions for web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration, optimize performance, and enhance overall functionality. Key responsibilities include managing the interchange of data between the server and users, developing server-side logic, maintaining the database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies

- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code

- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability applications

- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

- Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and blob storage

- Maintain clear code comments and organized project files

- Contribute to technical documentation and deployment guides

- Perform testing and collaborate with QA to ensure applications meet standards, taking ownership of error and bug minimization

- Investigate new technologies to enhance client solutions

Additional Responsibilities :

- Review code to ensure it is maintainable, error-free, and compliant with project requirements

- Provide feedback and training to junior developers

- Communicate task progress and project updates to clients and team members

Technical Qualifications :

- Experience with Node.js and its frameworks

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript

- Proficient in using Serverless framework to deploy REST APIs via API Gateway and Lambda functions

- In-depth understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

- Good understanding of Cloud concepts

- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database concepts

- Familiarity with REST API design

Good to Have : Full-stack experience, with proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js

- Strong analytical skills to read business requirements, analyze issues, and propose implementable solutions

- Ability to identify alternatives and find optimal implementation paths

- Capability to follow through and ensure the correct logic is applied

- Quick learner of new concepts and software

Education and Work Experience :

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

- Background in Computer Science, IT, or a related scientific discipline is preferred
