Covantech - Guidewire Developer - InsuranceNow Solutions (3-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Guidewire InsuranceNow solutions, including configurations, rules, and integrations.

- Customize InsuranceNow modules such as Policy, Billing, and Claims to align with business requirements.

- Work on Guidewire Cloud implementations and leverage cloud-native services for scalability and performance.

- Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and integrations between InsuranceNow and third-party systems.

- Optimize and enhance business workflows, rating, underwriting, claims processing, and reporting functionalities.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in InsuranceNow environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and architects, to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements in all implementations.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, system configurations, and integration documents.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience working with Guidewire InsuranceNow development and customization.

- Strong understanding of insurance industry processes and InsuranceNow architecture.

- Hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and SQL.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and integration patterns.

- Knowledge of Guidewire Data Model and experience in writing complex queries.

- Experience with Guidewire Digital Portals, Guidewire Cloud, or SaaS-based Guidewire solutions is a plus.

- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms for deploying and managing applications.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in DevOps environments.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Guidewire InsuranceNow Certification is a strong plus.

- Knowledge of insurance regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.

- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.

- Prior experience working in large-scale insurance digital transformation projects.

- Exposure to AI/ML-based analytics, chatbot integrations, or automation within insurance platforms is an added advantage.
