Costing Engineer

You'll contribute significantly to our industrial operations by establishing precise costing measures. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Industrial Quality), providing essential costing for new products and processes and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing fixed and variable industrial costs, including quality inspection and supply chain expenses, but also contribute to decision-making processes during various project phases.

We’ll look to you for:

• Performing detailed industrial costing for new products and processes
• Assisting in tender phases with accurate Make or Buy assumptions
• Supporting decisions for MoB changes or activity transfers
• Updating industrial costs in our Reference Library
• Maintaining the PME department’s workload plan
• Conducting specific analyses such as Time Spent versus Method Time
• Engaging in other related activities as required

• Technical education
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Process & Manufacturing Engineering background with 5 to 8 years’ experience, preferably in the railway industry
• Technical experience in Process Engineering, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing
• Knowledge of Time Management
• Experience with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials and Routings
• Familiarity with IS common tools
• Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (e.g., CATIA, DELMIA)
• Conscientiousness and the ability to commit and deliver
• Team player mentality with a spirit of “Team Trust Action”
• Self-motivation, logical and organized approach, and excellent communication skills
