Role Description
The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business processes, master data, and integration to deliver effective SAP FICA solutions. The role involves providing consulting services and utilizing analytical skills to optimize and streamline financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and optimize SAP FICA processes (payment, dunning, clearing).
Design and manage IS-U Billing (rate config, invoicing, post-billing adjustments).
Oversee Device Management (installation, maintenance, data integration).
Ensure data integrity and governance in Master Data Management.

SAP ISU FICA Consultants have in-depth knowledge and experience with the SAP ISU FICA module, its functionalities, and its integration with other SAP ISU modules.
Utility Industry Understanding: They have a deep understanding of the specific requirements, business processes, and challenges in the utility industry, including billing and customer financial management.
System Implementation: SAP ISU FICA Consultants are responsible for implementing and configuring the SAP ISU FICA module to meet the utility company's specific billing and financial transaction requirements.
Integration: They ensure seamless integration between the SAP ISU FICA module and other SAP ISU modules, such as SAP ISU CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and SAP ISU DM (Device Management), to support end-to-end business processes in the utility sector.
Customer Financial Management: Consultants oversee customer financial transactions, including billing, invoicing, collections, payment processing, and dispute management. They ensure that financial processes are efficient and compliant with industry regulations.
Master Data Management: They manage customer master data, including billing information, contract data, and payment terms, to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Billing Configuration: SAP ISU FICA Consultants configure billing processes, including rate determination, pricing, and invoicing rules. They often handle complex rate structures and tariff management.

Invoice Print and Distribution: They manage the process of generating, printing, and distributing invoices to customers. This may include electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) and managing invoice templates.
Payment Processing: Consultants oversee payment processing and ensure that payments are accurately recorded and applied to customer accounts.
They also manage payment methods and payment reversals when needed.
Debt Collections: They handle the debt collection process, including sending reminders, managing dunning levels, and coordinating collections activities.
Financial Reporting: SAP ISU FICA Consultants are responsible for designing and generating financial reports, including accounts receivable (AR) reports, revenue reports, and financial statements.
Regulatory Compliance: They ensure that the SAP ISU FICA module complies with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices. Testing and Validation: Consultants oversee testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure that the SAP ISU FICA system functions correctly.
Training: They provide training to end-users, customer service representatives, and finance teams to ensure they can effectively use the SAP ISU FICA system and handle customer financial transactions.
