Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Cloud Systems Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure public and private cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure architecture and Engineering, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex cloud projects. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business goals, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
In this role you will ... Responsible for the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Develop and maintain architectural blueprints for cloud environments, integrating AWS, Linux, VMware, Storage, and other Datacenter technologies.
Manage and optimize AWS environments, including EC2, S3, VPC, Mongo\Oracle Databases, and other core AWS services.
Administer and manage VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi. Develop and maintain Infrastructure Foundation services automation tools (to streamline cloud operations and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
Implement and manage configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automated deployments and environment consistency.
Work closely with the IT-security team to integrate security best practices into the cloud architecture. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement remediation strategies.
Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana to ensure high availability and performance.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other cloud engineers and operations teams. Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures. Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) strategies to ensure business continuity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, network, SRE, GNOC, and security teams, to deliver cohesive cloud solutions.

- 12 -15 of years of experience in Infrastructure architecture and engineering roles.
- Extensive experience with AWS services and Linux System architecture best practices (Open for GCS/Azure with AWS Certification)
- Strong proficiency with Linux administration and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with VMware technologies and virtualized environments.
- Proven experience in datacenter operations, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
