Senior Software Engineer - iAM Solutions (5-15 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable IAM solutions to manage user access and authorization across our applications and systems.

- Evaluate and select IAM tools and technologies that align with our security requirements and user needs (e.g, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), user lifecycle management).

- Integrate IAM solutions with our existing infrastructure and applications to ensure seamless user experience and access control.

- Configure and manage user roles, permissions, and access policies based on the principle of least privilege.

- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in our IAM systems.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest IAM trends, best practices, and security regulations (e.g, GDPR, CCPA).

- Collaborate with security teams, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement IAM policies and procedures.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM systems and processes.

- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with user access and authorization.

- Monitor and analyze IAM logs to detect suspicious activity and potential security breaches.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

- 4+ years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of IAM principles and concepts.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions using industry-standard protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).

- In-depth knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g, password hashing, role-based access control).

- Experience with integrating IAM solutions with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.

- Familiarity with security best practices and secure coding principles.

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.

- Strong understanding of Linux administration principles.

Technical Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with specific IAM tools and technologies (e.g, Ping Identity, Okta, Azure AD).

- Knowledge of cloud IAM services (AWS IAM, GCP IAM, Azure AD).

- Experience with API security best practices (OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect)
