Senior Software Engineer

Software Engineer (Java, Spring-boot, Microservices, Cloud)

As a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Spring-boot, Cloud and Microservices with Convera based in our Pune office, you will be responsible for Design, develop, and implement microservices architectures using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.

You will be responsible for:

• Web Development Experience for High-Traffic, Public Facing APIs and web applications.

• Developing performance efficient and scalable solutions,secure APIs and webpages.

• Hands on Experience with:
  o RESTful API design and development

  o Microservices development using JAVA and Spring Boot server-side

  o AWS cloud native services

  o Modern design patterns

  o RDBMS (Postgres preferred) and NoSql

  o Continuous integration tools (Jenkins/Cloudbees)

  o Version Control Systems (Gitlab) and build tools(Maven/WebPack)

  o SDLC processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies

You should apply if you have:

• 6+ years of experience in Java development with a strong emphasis on microservices.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot or a similar microservices framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms for deployment and management.
• In-depth understanding of design patterns and best practices for microservices development.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.
