Software Tester

Job description
Roles and responsibilities:

• Early detection, mitigation, and prevention of potential production issues
• Learn and comprehend product features to develop a clear, detailed understanding of product testing requirements
• Perform various regression testing processes (feature qc, platform qc, bulk test, completeness test, interruption test, resource usage test, network connection test, translation testing, etc.)
• Collaborate with leads and other team members to determine testing priorities, effort estimates and track and report progress
• Write regression test plans, test cases and usage scenarios to be used for testing, and other documentations as required
• Prepare the test environment and test data
• Execute testing
• Consolidate test results into clear and concise reports
• Create and track tickets for any issues on functionality, usability, performance, reliability, and stability issues
• Work with software test engineers to ensure that any functional issues that may be revealed during the tests are verified and reported

Preferred Knowledge:

• Experience in using mobile devices, specifically iOS (iPads, iPhones), Android (tablets, phones), Windows (desktop, Surface Pro) and / or Mac (MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, iMac, Mac Pro)
• Knowledge in any software quality control processes and procedures
• Exposure to software / hardware / network technologies

Qualifications:

• Education BCA/B.Tech or Equivalent .
• An autonomous thinker with experience in managing your own diary while working to strict deadlines

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to details
