Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Implement ETL processes to support data warehouse and analytics solutions.
• Architect, build, and manage data lake environments to consolidate data from various sources for advanced analytics and business intelligence purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and implement efficient solutions.
• Optimize performance of data systems through monitoring, tuning, and scaling. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to support data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on big data technologies and ETL processes.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
