Manager - ESOPs - BFS/Consulting Firm (5-15 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Consultant with expertise in ESOP structuring and Business Development to join our dynamic consulting team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and the ability to drive business development initiatives. This role involves advising clients on ESOP structuring, managing complex transactions, and contributing to the growth of the firm's business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- ESOP Structuring: Advise clients on the creation, structuring, and implementation of ESOPs and other employee benefit plans.

- Business Development: Drive new business opportunities and help clients identify solutions for business growth through financial and organizational structuring.

- Assist clients in understanding the financial, legal, and tax implications of ESOP plans.

- Manage client relationships, ensuring smooth communication, problem resolution, and value delivery.

- Perform due diligence and valuation assessments related to ESOP transactions.

- Guide clients through the regulatory requirements and compliance related to ESOPs.

- Conduct workshops, trainings, and client presentations on ESOP implementation and its benefits.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA from a recognized institution (required).

- Strong experience in ESOP structuring, business development, or employee benefits planning.

- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, capital structuring, and tax regulations.

- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze complex financial structures and provide strategic recommendations.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects - simultaneously.

- Familiarity with the legal and regulatory aspects of ESOPs, including compliance and tax filings.

- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required.
