Roles and Responsibility:

• Design and develop pipelines, notebooks (using PySpark and SQL), Delta Lake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Governance with Medallion Architecture.
• Handling Data extraction using API, Streaming, Batch files, File formats like Json, Parque, CSV, Delta.

Requirements:

Core Data Engineering Skills:-

• Microsoft Fabric (or Databricks / Data Factory)
• At least two or three years of hands-on Fabric or Databricks experience is must (excluding RD)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric for data orchestration, data management, and cloud integration.
• Strong understanding of Lakehouse for working with large-scale datasets, incremental processing, SCD Logic, working with delta live tables, Autoloader in notebooks.
• Experience in designing Mapping Data Flows in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data transformation.
• Dimensional Modelling: Proficient in designing star schema, snowflake schema, and fact tables for efficient reporting and analytics.
• Familiarity with Indexing, Partitioning, and Performance Tuning for optimizing data warehouse and Lakehouse performance.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology: Understanding of Agile practices and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile teams.

Soft Skills:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently.
• Ability to work effectively in teams, especially in Agile environments where collaboration is key.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
• Verbal and written communication skills to document processes, communicate with stakeholders, and convey technical concepts clearly.
