Consultant Biochemistry (Full Time): | Himayathanagar | Kurnool |

Job Overview:

As an MD or DNB Consultant in Biochemistry, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team, specializing in diagnosing and managing diseases related to biochemistry. You will provide expertise in laboratory diagnostics and work closely with other medical professionals to ensure accurate patient care.

Technical:

1. Provide advisory services for those requesting information about the choice of tests and the use of the services and the interpretation of laboratory data.

2. To ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment in the department to ensure optimum performance and minimize wastages

3. To ensure that adequate stock of reagents, consumables and all others needed for patient testing is available in coordination with the lab managers, Central stores and the HOD

4. To ensure optimum utilization of the reagents and consumables.

5. To ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work place and compliance to the safety procedures of the organization and applicable regulatory requirements

6. Follow standard and universal precautions including PPE and Biomedical waste management guidelines

7. To conduct on-site technical training of staff as and when required.

Administration:

1. Responsible as Consultant Doctor for effective leadership including routine working of the Department of Biochemistry and monitor the work performed in the section to ensure that reliable results with clinically relevant information being generated.

2. Ensure that all roles and responsibilities as assigned by the HOD are executed within the prescribed time.

Quality Management System:

1. To ensure that work processes are compliant to the laid down Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications:

- MD or DNB degree in Biochemistry a related field.

- Board certification in Biochemistry

- State medical license and any required certifications.

- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not always required.
