Legal Metrology Lawyer - LLB (2-5 yrs)

- We're looking out for a lawyer with a legal metrology, FSSAI experience of 2 to 5 years, particularly in the field of Regulatory Affairs & Policy.

- This role is a secondment engagement for a duration of 6 to 9 months, based in Mumbai. Working is from client office.

- The client is a technology, information, and internet company with brands in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. It is a very famous brand name to work with.

- The professional will be handling the regulatory function for drugs, cosmetics, and food products in both domestic and international markets.

- This includes assessing the current regulatory landscape, coordinating regulatory training and workshops, and contributing to public policy and advocacy efforts.

- The ideal lawyer for this role should have knowledge of regulations such as the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940, FSSAI 2006, Legal Metrology Act 2009, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Familiarity with Cosmetic Rules 2020, Plastic Waste Management Rules 2020, E-Commerce Rules 2020, and ASCI standards is also required.

- Experience with international - US, UK, MENA, and ASEAN registration for cosmetics products would be a plus.
