Job Description
- Financial Planning, Control and MIS:
- Prepare annual business plans &budgets in line with corporate goals.
- Prepare periodic MIS and conductvariance analysis to determine difference between projected & actualresults and suggest corrective actions.
- Carry out budgeting, forecasting,cost & credit control, margin analysis, costing & profitabilityanalysis and management reporting.
- Interface and assist variousfunctions in the company for all approvals in ERP.
- Manage budget control, MIS andreporting in ERP.
- Bookkeeping and Financial reporting:
- Finalization of Accounts, Preparationof Quarterly /Half Yearly/ Annual Financial records.
- Preparation of Companies financialsas per requirement of IND-AS and completion of audit for the same Designing andensuring operation of internal control systems.
- Ensure timely closure of all monthlyactivities.
- Account Receivable & PayableManagement.
- Manage day to day finance operationsand ensure that all critical reconciliations are prepared and reviewed onregular basis.
- Preparation and submission ofperiodic MIS to management explaining the reasons for variances with thebudget/ forecast.
- Liaison with external auditors forscheduling and successfully completing the Audit (Internal and External)function.
- Auditing and Taxation:
- Ensure completion of timely internal& statutory audits and tax audits.
- Evaluate internal controlsystems/procedures, highlight the shortcomings and implement necessaryrecommendations.
- Manage tax planning and ensure timelyassessment and filing of direct & indirect tax returns in compliance withStatutory Tax Acts.
- Liaise with the tax authorities forboth direct and indirect taxation matters.
- Cross functional team support:
SCM, O&M and Projects:
Smooth and fast internal approvals.
Urgent support on matters likestatutory and regulatory payments etc.
M&A:
Financial and tax due diligence.
Finalize transaction structure.
Integration of acquired entities.
Project Finance:
Implementation of Escrow/TRAoperations.
Periodic MIS and certification forbanks.
- Fund Management & Treasury/Banking Operations:
Prepare quarterly/monthly/weekly fundplanning as per budget and actual trends.
Ensure timely payments to vendors.
Manage treasury operations tooptimize returns on surplus funds.
Manage banking operationsand ensure adherence to the contractual obligations.
