Role & responsibilities

Consultant Management:

• Maintain a database of available consultants ("on the bench") and their skills, experience, and preferences.
• Regularly communicate with bench consultants to understand their availability, preferences, and any skill upgrades.

Job Marketing & Lead Generation:

• Market bench consultants to potential clients, vendors, and tier-one companies through job portals, LinkedIn, email, and direct communication.
• Cold calling and emailing to generate new client leads and open positions.

Job Portals Management:

• Post resumes on various job portals (Dice, Monster, TechFetch, etc.).
• Actively search for and apply to relevant job postings for bench consultants.

Negotiation:

• Negotiate salary/rates with clients and vendors.
• Facilitate communication between clients and consultants for rate agreements and terms of contracts.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Handle paperwork related to contracts, agreements, and extensions.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and visa regulations (e.g., H1B, OPT, CPT).
• Maintain proper documentation of all candidate and client interactions.

Onboarding and Support:

• Assist consultants with onboarding processes once they secure a project.
• Provide ongoing support for consultants while they are on projects, addressing any concerns that arise.

Reporting & Metrics:

• Track and report metrics such as the number of consultants placed, time to place consultants, revenue generated, etc.
• Provide regular updates to the management team on the status of bench consultants and ongoing placements.

Relationship Building:

• Build strong relationships with consultants to ensure long-term retention.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to open up more opportunities for consultants.

Market Analysis:

• Stay updated on current trends in the IT industry to better market bench consultants.
• Analyze market demand to identify skill sets in high demand and guide consultants in upgrading their skills.

Preferred candidate profile

Must be Fluent in English and should have Computer Knowledge and mail Communication.
